Like on a smartphone, you can also save your screen display if there is important information to know in the future. A similar way can also be done on a Windows 10 laptop.
For example, there is a meeting material that is important enough for you to re-learn. So doing screenshots of the material will be much more practical.
It could also be if you find interesting information from a website, so you don’t have to open it again, then you just need to take a screenshot.
How to take a screenshot on a Windows 10 laptop
1. Alt + Print Screen
If previously you captured the entire screen display, at this point the screen display that is captured is only the window or the currently active window.
you simply press the Alt key + Print Screen.
The result will be in the clipboard. To save it, you need to use the steps via Microsoft Paint as above.
2. Win + H
Do you want your screenshots to be directly opened in certain applications?
The trick, you simply press the Windows key + H combination.
This key combination will screenshot the active window and bring up a dialog box to open the image in another application.
3. Game Bar
If you are playing a game and want to take a screenshot, Windows 10 has its own feature for this.
You need to open the Xbox app, then open the settings menu and press the Game DVR tab.
After that, check the box that says “record game clips and screenshots using Game DVR”.
Furthermore, when you are running a game, you can simply press the Windows + G key combination.
Then, a pop up overlay will appear with various menus that you can choose from. You can select the camera icon to capture the appearance of the game in the form of an image.

4. Windows + Shift + S
By using this key combination, you can capture the screen display more to your liking.
You just need to click and drag to capture the screen display according to the area you want.
The catch will be saved in the clipboard. To open it, you can take steps through Microsoft Paint as in the previous explanation.
5. Pressing the PrtScn or Print Screen
By pressing this button, the entire screen display is automatically captured and entered into the clipboard.
Keep in mind, some laptops need to use the Fn key to perform this function.
You can open Microsoft Paint, then right click and select paste. The screenshot will then appear. Next, you can save it by clicking the diskette logo in the upper left corner.
